How the Energy Efficiency Program Works
Ben Schmidt video blogs about how a homeowner can go about applying for the Energy Efficiency Program. The quick and dirty version is, hire an inspector, they audit your home and give you a number out of a 100. Get the recommended work done, then have inspector back in home, to retest. If number is higher, then apply to government for your grant or loan. The grant is up to $2000 and the loan is interest free for six years, and is up to $10,000.
