On Saturday, May 15th 2010, Royal LePage offices across Canada will come together to host the 2nd annual National Garage Sale for Shelter, with 100% of proceeds going to help women and children living with abuse.
The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada?s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women?s shelters and violence prevention and education programs.?
Because we believe in the importance of giving back to the community, Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company to have our own charitable foundation.?All of the administrative costs of the Foundation are underwritten so that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to helping our cause.
In its first year, the National Garage Sale for Shelter raised over $120,000, nation wide! Locally, Gardiner Realty Royal LePage raised $1,100. All proceeds went to the Transition House. This year all proceeds go to Muriel McQueen Fergusson Foundation.
