What Makes a Great Seller's Real Estate Agent?

Obviously when selling a home there are some key qualities an agent representing you should have. Organized, motivated, knowledgeable, a good negotiator, etc. What makes a great selling agent is one that helps the client understand the market and price their home correctly, negotiates very well on behalf of client, makes sale go smoothly, and corrects issues in home before put on for sale.

But, I'm going to make a statement that some Realtors may get upset at... Real Estate agents, don't sell your home...

It is my opinion that if you list with a Realtor, and you are priced CORRECTLY and you are on the market at the correct time, you will sell your home with very little effort. Why? The market sells your home. Again, if priced correctly and on the market at the correct time, there will always be buyers for your home, and they will see your home.

What does the Realtor do then? We market your home. Plan and simple. It is our job, in my opinion, to get your home to the eyes of more potential buyers than the next agent. If someone gets your home to more people than the next agent, that makes them a better agent.
